Folk Dance Australia (FDA) has an extensive collection of dance workshop resources accumulated since 2003. Many visiting international and local dance teachers specialising in a particular country or cultural tradition have provided FDA with dance music, videos and notes from their workshops creating a large FDA collection of material. In more recent years, zoom workshops have been added to this collection. A list of available resources can be found in every issue of ‘Footnotes’ https://catalogue.nla.gov.au/catalog/1475298. They are available for purchase in a variety of formats (CDs, DVDs, USBs, downloads) and their cost varies between $10 and $35, plus postage. For enquiries about purchasing these resources, please use the submission form under Contact Us.
FDA’s wealth of workshop dance resources provides hours of dance material, at a reasonable cost, so that no folk dance group could ever run out of great dances!
